Commissioned by Thalassa Taller de Vinos. It is a special and different project due to its originality.
The vineyard 'La Melonera' is located in Serranía de Ronda at an altitude of 800 metres. It lies in a splendid landscape of meadows and holm oak pastures.
Among the holm oaks several small plots have been planted with varieties such as Syrah, Grenache, and Monastrell and other local, less known varieties such as Romé, Tintilla or Melonera, which the Rancho la Merced Institute has preserved.
When the vines are productive we intend to apply a new vinification concept that is being tested and that will allow the artist-oenologist to better express their sensitivity in the wine.
