Highly controlled drip irrigation. Harvesting occurred twice at 13 and 15 potential degrees.Later on, vinification took place in closed 4000-litre tanks, in a reducing atmosphere, skins separated from the wine and automatised remontage. Fine lees underwent automatic remuage for three months. Ageing in wooden tanks for 12 months followed by 10 more months in 225-litre wooden barrels.
The Serra Alta vineyard faces south-west. Altitude 450 metres. Poorly meteorised slate, gravelly and poor soil. Vines trellised with loops.
It’s a round, delicate, elegant wine with silky tannins. HARMONY.
